Overlord Vol 6 (light Novel): The Men Of The Kingdom Part II
The Kingdom of God is not just a place, but a realm of power and authority. It is a realm where God's will is done, and His purposes are accomplished. And in the Kingdom of God, men are called to play a vital role.
In Part I of this article, we looked at the characteristics of the men who are called to be leaders in the Kingdom of God. We saw that these men are men of integrity, men of faith, men of courage, and men of vision.
In this article, we will look at the specific roles that men are called to play in the Kingdom of God. We will see that God has called men to be priests, prophets, and kings.

Priests
Priests are men who mediate between God and man. They offer sacrifices on behalf of the people, and they intercede for the people before God. In the Old Testament, priests were responsible for the sacrifices and rituals of the temple. They were also responsible for teaching the people the Law of God.
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the Great High Priest. He offered Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, and He intercedes for us before the Father. All Christians are called to be priests, in the sense that we can offer spiritual sacrifices to God and intercede for others in prayer.
Prophets
Prophets are men who speak the Word of God to the people. They are often called to challenge the status quo and to call people to repentance. In the Old Testament, prophets such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel spoke out against the sins of the people and called them to return to God.
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the ultimate Prophet. He spoke the words of God to the people, and He revealed the Father to us. All Christians are called to be prophets, in the sense that we can share the Word of God with others and speak out against sin.
Kings
Kings are men who rule over the people. They are responsible for maintaining order and justice, and for leading the people in the way of God. In the Old Testament, kings such as David and Solomon ruled over the people of Israel.
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the King of kings. He rules over all creation, and He will one day return to establish His Kingdom on earth. All Christians are called to be kings, in the sense that we can reign with Christ in His Kingdom.
The Roles Of Men In The Kingdom Of God
The roles of priests, prophets, and kings are not exclusive to men. Women can also serve in these roles. However, there is a unique calling for men to lead in these areas.
Men are called to be priests because they represent the masculine principle of order and authority. Men are called to be prophets because they represent the masculine principle of truth and revelation. Men are called to be kings because they represent the masculine principle of leadership and dominion.
Of course, not all men are called to be priests, prophets, or kings. But all men are called to play a vital role in the Kingdom of God. Men are called to be husbands and fathers. They are called to be leaders in their communities and in their churches. They are called to be men of integrity, faith, courage, and vision.
When men embrace their God-given roles, they become powerful forces for good in the world. They help to build up the Kingdom of God and to bring about His purposes on earth.
The men of the Kingdom of God are men of destiny. They are called to play a vital role in the building of God's Kingdom. They are called to be priests, prophets, and kings. They are called to be men of integrity, faith, courage, and vision.
When men embrace their God-given roles, they become powerful forces for good in the world. They help to build up the Kingdom of God and to bring about His purposes on earth.
